He makes me sick.
Time magazine wrote about him in an article about "emo" and literally cast him as if he created a whole new concept of music where you're singing about a relationship, an ex bf/gf, love lost.
I thought I was going to throw up.
No mention of Sunny Day, who, without getting into the whole argument of what emo is and isn't, are regarded as one of the greatest bands of the genre because Jeremy Enigk writes songs from a heart that Chris Carraba couldn't dream of having a fraction of.And of course he gets the girls...
There are too many insecure, wayward girls so heavily influenced by the media out there that they can't help but fawn over a pseudo-romantic always heartbroken musician who, as it's been said already, does nothing but write the same thing over and over.
