While drunk my friends and I pulled an already loose parking meter out of the street and took it home. I got stuck with it and carried it around with me to several various apartments for a good 7 years.
Recently moved again, couldn't do it anymore. Dumped the thing all covert like in an IKEA parking lot 3 months ago. Apparently it's still there as a number of local friends in the area see it frequently. No one's moved it.
