  Okay TBO, find me one recessionary period in U.S. that included two consecutive quarters of positive GDP growth. Just one. The private organization you quoted likely has personal agendas influencing their decisions. Who gave them the authority to change what economists have always defined in textbooks as a "recession": criteria that has not been met this year or the last.
