Finding a UK firm with branch in US differs in situation.

You can get a transfer visa but you must be at the home location for at least 1 year. You can also get temporally visa which your job function is for you to travel to US but not based in US.

If I were you, I would aim for transfer visa because after you stay at home office for 1 year and come to US for 1 year, you are eligible for greencard. For transfer visa greencard applicant, it takes abou 3 months versus 5-6 years for normal process (that is if you are approved). Also, transfer visa is the easiest visa you can get if you get approved by the company.

    • Costs $5k in Lawyers fee's tho' which is a shit. Also, most of the UK guys here have taken 6 months.Gordy22
