  maybe so: you´re going to a party and you like it there. it´s relevant to your interests. the bouncers don´t screen for nasties and kiddies, so they soon start to make trouble all over the place. starting arguments, provoking people. the vibe turns sour, you´re disgusted, angry even, but you don´t want to leave just yet.

  Now, if the host can´t be bothered to just kick them out for stepping over the line of decent behaviour, it sure would be nice if you could somehow screen yourself from the bozos, to enjoy this thing again.
