Sorry to hear it.
I got laid off 2 years ago from full time employment, not due to the economy particularly more due to the company I was at going much more down a software development route instead of design work.
Went freelance using my redundancy pay and I've never been happier.
In terms of the economy at the moment, it seems to me that it's a good time to be a freelancer, agencies are still winning projects but don't always want to take someone on full time to do the work.
- Yeah good point. I do alot of freelance with a design firm called FWIS maybe ill spend some more time trying to pursue that.aaux
