tonight, in preparation for a meeting tomorrow, a director friend/client sent us a rough cut of a documentary he is making about/in collaboration with/ an obsessive/compulsive manic/depressive aspiring film maker, which we may do some titling for. we were in tears most of the time, even though it was very funny, because it seemed like such an endless and heroic undertaking for our friend and his collaborator, and the pain and hope in his eyes
