Simple. Be honest. If he starts puttin on the moves or what-have-you, say that you really appreciate the invite but that you're not ready for that.
Or make plans with someone else (girlfriend, family member) for just after when dinner is supposed to be and let him know of those plans.- hmm great idea. I may do that. I'll be honest. Thanks.redant
