  Since we're quite slow right now, we went to NY on Thursday. Got caught in a lot of traffic. Parked near MoMa, had a quick bite in the cafe, saw some interesting photography, met a client for a drink, stopped in at a friend's opening around the corner at Tibor deNagy, and drove home. We'd thought about sharing a bottle of wine and a light dinner at the Modern (the restaurant, not the Museum), but to our surprise it was packed. Not much sign of the economic crisis there. I retrospect, it was a lot of effort for not much content.
