it probably isn't the best position for someone with kids/family to support.. as horton has supported.
i worked in the ASI for 2 1/2 years in the heart of it all, southern california. there's definitely big and EASY money in the business, but probably not for graphic designers.. more so marketing, etc.
also, what i did learn was that people with families to support didn't always come to work so happy because money was low, but kids in their early to mid-twenties who still lived with their parents and only had to pay their car and insurance and rode as much as they worked were just racking in easy cash and loving life.
it's not always the case.. but that industry can only satisfy so much of one's lifestyle.
- Thanks for the insight, that's a good pointMissB
- don't take this as a threat though.. i did have the time of my life.. and again.. the perks are ridiculous..surface
- especially if you really just love snowboarding.. i got to experience x-games.. high cascade summer camps.. all the tradeshows in san diego and vegas.. etc.surface
- Maybe it's something I should be just looking at for on a freelance bais.MissB
