god you guys are inspiring - i'm sitting here in a dead end job earning a pittance compared to those sitting around me, all for the overseas work experience. maybe i just have the wrong attitude! but seriously, jox has it right - you wanna make serious coin, you work for yourself, or better, you start a business and get serious - turnover and profit is what makes the economy run, not type and image, and your life will be better off for it. I had that in the past with my own business, but left it to be creatively fulfilled working in a high-end studio, but am now wishing to return to my own show. Even if you have to do it after hours to start with, give it a go - turn your freelance into a business, a brand, and see if it begins to take over your life to the point where you have to give up your day job to handle the freelance work - then you know you're on the right track! the guys at psyop started that way, although i'm not sure where they're at now ...
