I am being as humble as possible here ....
Web design is a business to me not an art form. To the designers it is probably an art, but my company is nothing more than a business of numbers. That being said I am very comfortable. I own the company and have a nice house / car / boat. We do what the client wants, and charge a fairly high price. You have never heard of many of the companies we have done work for, but the strength is in the sales numbers not the client recognition. We did 900,000 in sales last year, which is great for a 6 person organization.
