You're not going to see Palin again, she might be in the limelight as someone here suggested, but not running for the Presidency. There's definitely a likability factor there for a huge number of people, and their votes count just the same.
As tommyo pointed out, a new crop of Republicans, will emerge. Although, personally, I thought that Romney dropped out far too early in the contest, but I suppose that was a resource issue and not energy. Time will tell, obviously if the country's economy comes back around, IRAQ establishes sustainable peace and a solution to the energy situation comes about, that all aids Obama's attempt to grab a second term. Then again, if the Democratic Senate keeps on sucking as much as it has, that might have a negative impact as well. That's the funny thing about having a one-sided Senate and Presidency.
I'd be happy to see Romney come back, I just think the R's threw in the towel on this one with McCain alone. There wasn't much effort, all in all, if you ask me.
It's time for the old Republican gaurd to retire and put things into a different gear.
- I think a new crop of constitutionalists will emerge...forget about republicans, it's back to our forefathers...and republicans have lost those fundamentals.designbot
- forefathers and the fundamentals that made this country great...that the republicans have lost.designbot
- can easily be remedied, with a little motivation and organization, which they will soon have.********
- yes, possibly.......hope your right :)designbot
- That's what I'm hoping too. More constitutionalists. We need more Jefferson and a tad less Hamilton, imo.tommyo
