thank you everyone for your responses. they were super helpful.
I found exactly what I was looking for and more in it's right in new york city (new york is the most convenient city in the world). you can get different colored sheets of professional (mr. sticker guy, etc.) quality sheets of vinyl "sticker" sheets at this place called LV Adhesive (212)925-2600 (it's on 48th and 10th or something like that. call them up and they will tell you their exact location).
tell them standard screen sent you.
(speaking of standard screen, if you plan on screen printing the vinyl to make your own stickers, you can get the ink you need at standard screen at 121 varick st at spring. they are very helpful there.)does anyone know if there are any issues I should be aware of when cutting vinyl? pen blade, right? should I make a cut-out out of cardboard or something?
