It's hard to say, wordpress can do so much if you include building custom templates for certain parts of the site rather than just updating a bit of css and html.

How complicated is the existing site in terms of layout? I find if it's a fairly straightforward layout and doesn't need a lot of heavy duty modification charging for 2-3 days work is about right but if it's a more complicated layout, has additional features etc then it's obviously more.

Are you also expected to transfer all the content of their site across or are you just providing the wordpress admin and then the training part comes in. Don't underestimate how long it takes to create and organise a load of page content.

As for the training, charge a lot because while wordpress is easy to use, it's a nightmare going over the same things again and again for the client and there's a lot the client can do with wordpress to break their site so you need to be careful what you teach them based on their skill using the system.

This might be a better reference point for the client if you don't want to train them: http://codex.wordpress.org/Worki…
