False alarm. The potatoes were for tomorrow's supper. I've been hammering away since I got home and so far all I've produced is some dishwasher tablets and a few shards of limescale.
I feel sure we'll reach the good stuff before midnight.
I must return to my duty. I only came downstairs to get a roll of parcel tape.
