Dammit. I just stopped at the 'puter repair place to see what was up. They first told me it was the power pack - which did indeed go bad, but now they can't even see the data on the hard drive...
"I can try to see if I can dump the data...anything specific..."
"Yeah - I have a like 40 gigs of music on there...and personal pictures...and tons of fonts. Oh and my illustrator files..."
"Anything else?"

"What?"
"Porn. OK. Porn. It's in the video folder. In My Documents. Stupid I know. Just leave it. God is punishing me, obviously. Wipe the porn off of there and pretend we didn't have this conversation."
"Um..ok...sure thing..."
