So Far, So Good...So What was my first Megadeth album, dubbed by a friend of mine. It was what opened the door to metal for me, eventually getting into Anthrax, Pantera, etc.
i kind of see that as a ideological middle ground in their career. It was less faux-Satanic than Peace Sells but less political than Rust in Peace.
Up unitl, but excluding, Countdown, there were more songs on each album that i loved than there were that i didn't like so much. There were a few stinkers on Countdown (Psychotron, High Speed Dirt, Captive Honor)- i could babble on all day about this band, so stop me anytimelocustsloth
