    RED doesn't compare in image quality to what you get out of the SLR camera.

    The only issue you would have with focusing... focusing ring on still lenses has a very small scale in comparison to cine lenses.

    • actually the other way around. Those SLR are better because the grain isn't as pronounecd as on RED.pr2

    • RED is rates as ISO320 and even at that setting it's incredibly grainy/noizy while Nikon and Canon even at high...pr2
    • ...high ISO setting is relatively noiseless. There is a reason why they are "redesigning" Scarlet.pr2
    • A friend shoots a Red 4k and the video looked pretty clean to me man. Is under feature film lighting rigs though.slappy
