classical music fonts

    "Classical" music (which in itself technically only represents around 100 years of composition) doesn't have fonts. Publishing companies and CD labels do. Everything is based around the style and packaging of a composer, ensemble, soloist, etc.

    I've have Monteverdi records with modern typography as well as period calligraphy. This stuff is sold the same as anything, depends on the market and all other factors.
