We have this playground near my school. We can take pictures around the playground (where there is a park), but we were advised, by our professor, that we shouldn't be taking pictures at the playground for fear of mothers. The other day we all went outside to take pictures for a story, and a bunch of students from another class went right into the playground to film something. A mother who lived near the playground peered out from above her fence and ripped those students a new one.
If there were kids there, then, sure, she had the right to tell them to go away. But if there weren't any kids playing there...I am not so sure. Of course, it's not her property.
That being said, I was surprised by the number of students from my class who didn't understand where the mother was coming from. They were all guys and immature too, so maybe that explains it.
