I didn't just wake up one day and blam. I too had to shovel poop.
the point is that after shoveling - I went home and worked my ass off on my own stuff...
and slowly they switched places - I shoveled less and got hired to experiement.
there are no "lucky ones" just people who work really really hard - fail, keep trying and eventually hard work and determination pay off.
