Jesus, this "voter registartion fraud" thing gets trotted out every election year - and always by the losing side. Look, google "Nathan Sproul" - he was a "GOP operative" who supposedly lead "voter registration fraud" in 5 or so states in 2004. The Dems got all frothy and shit about it and after the election there was an investigation and their apparently wasn't enough evidence to proceed. ACORN will be exactly the same.
Furthermore "voter registration" and "voter fraud" are two different fucking things. It's like applying for a credit card with the name "Mickey Mouse, 1 Magic Kingdom Way, Disneyland". Sending that into a credit card company ain't fraud. If they issue you the card and then you use it, then it's fraud. But in the first case, what are you going to do, sue the post office for delivering fraudulent applications? This whole ACORN is a tempest in a teapot over absolutely nothing - the only difference is that in 2000 and 2004 when the Republicans did it (or were accused of doing it, just like they're accusing the Dems now) it was back page news and was called "sour grapes" by the Repubs/media. Thanks to the rightwing noise machine - FOX news, Limbaugh, Drudge...it becomes headline news on the teevee and in the papers. It's bullshit exactly like "Yellowcake"...
the fact that you get such a hard-on about this means either you're dumb and don't understand what's going on, or you know exactly what's going on and you're being a partisan jackhole about it.
