    1. repeat positives to yourself. have a morning meditation, an evening meditation. when your mind gets into a positive rhythm you begin to change your perspective.

    2. make up a story about your current situation as if you were relaying it as a funny joke to someone about it years later. it will help you see that 'this too shall pass' -- the pendulum ever swingith.

    3. be grateful for what you have. take a mental list of all the things you have been provided with in life and be thankful. (i.e. incredible graphic design skillz, a really kind demeanor, a great sense of humour, a loving relationship).

    4. treat yourself kindly. stay away from caffeine. get plenty of rest. eat regular meals. stay away from fast food and alcohol binges.

    5. as jane fonda would say, 'don't forget to breath'.

you have had it really hard and i'm almost jealous because i know how this works out! you suffer the hard times only to experience good times in the same extreme and it is so rewarding to become that much stronger and perseverant. don't get too attached to your current situation .. realize it is just a transitional point.
