    ok.....

1 there are quick keys to do EVERYTHING on a mac....1 stroke is all thats required to do the simplest, most common tasks. on pc everything is through the right click window. That alone speeds you up

    2. apple scripts / shell scripts / automator (what do you do if you need do delete every file with a certain extension etc. etc.)

    3. On a mac it @ least fucking tells you (in an obvious way) when your battery is going. On my pc it goes from working to black screen with no warning....waking it up requires starting it up...

    4. Folder actions....to upload to my server all i have to do is drag an item to a certain directory....

    • 1) A right-click is slower and less intuitive than a key-combo? Really?Nairn
    • 2) This laptop tells me every 20 minutes before battery's going down, progressively more whiner as it goes on.Nairn
    • oops, I mixed up 2 and 3) K, that is a bit better - though I can just sort by date and extension, then delete.Nairn
    • 4) Again, that's quite a good one, though you can do it through winExplorer (personally, I use a droppit box)Nairn
    • you can right click on a Mac, you idiotmonospaced
    • read it again nice guy....powertoni
    • the point was that quickeys, in my opinion ARE faster than using the contexutal menu....IM typing this on my PC laptop btw.powertoni
