if it starts on Monday then you're just leading it out too early, which means it will die early and there will be a risk of duplicate thread being mad for that Friday's date because the original thread for that week won't even be on the first 3 page radar, nor will people who aren't reading this thread check the filter for the FMT that always starts on Wednesday at the earliest. Plus, even if it doesn't seem like there aren't a lot of people here on Fridays for some it's a slower day, which in turn gives them time to contribute.
