    figure out what your hourly rate is (including the 2-3 hours per day that are non-billable). work out how many hours it will take - include phone calls, meetings, emails EVERYTHING! and viola!
    It is very important to work with him on HIS budget and requirements. You do not charge based on how much money a client has (although it will allow it to effect the budget if it required).
    Does he need implementation - stationary, biz cards, style guide, signage etc? All these change if it will be a budget $1500 logo or a $10,000 logo. This and what size the corporation is - look at the AIGA's guide to ethical pricing.
