    ETM, what i meant was, with a Mac there's not the incessant drive to constantly look at new processors and what you can put into the motherboard because, correct me if I'm wrong, you really can't. You're mostly limited to their next major hardware version.

    With PCs, especially with building one, there's that constant "what can I swap, upgrade, buy, etc." that deals just with the primary components: motherboard, processor, memory. Especially when it comes to building a brand new computer, the choices out there for buying each of these items is daunting and never ending.
