  Totally agreed, stem.
  If you can use illy and/or have used quark in the past then Indesign will make total sense. Text and Image boxes work slightly differently in InDesign — better in my opinion — but that's really it. They've become very similar in the last few versions.
  If you're going to do more work with this doc and/or the client and/or multi-page print work in general, get to grips with Indesign. It's easy.
