I wish my girlfriend would straighten her place up more, like, spotless, no piles all over. This is something I actually ask her to do all the time. I've tried to suggest to her that, more than most other things, it makes me really happy to come over and the place be perfect, no messes, no clutter. I keep my apartment that way, organized.
I try to keep things tidy, clean, smelling good, etc. and a little trick I play with myself is to think "what if this was a brand new girl coming over? what's the impression this place would make?" That's something I wish my GF would do. Clutter gives me a headache, seriously. Just as much as it would turn me on for her to just be waiting there naked when I walk in the door, my walking into a spotless tidy, non-cluttered apartment is just as much of a turn on.
I have a rule for myself: the ABC rule - Always Be expecting Company. Means that my place is always clean and organized enough so that if anyone stops by at any random moment I don't worry about it looking bad.
- girls are messy by nature i believe.sublocked
- no way, sublocked. Maybe clutter, but I know lots of women who are anal about cleaning up. Even I am that way.Jaline
- They tend to have more "stuff" though, for sure. Compared to men.Jaline
- Depends on the individual, not the gender. What I DO think is that if you're messy you won't really change. Least I won't.killthefish
- 90% of the girls i know have cluttered houses. i only make comments based on my observations :)sublocked
- Fair enough. And yeah, it's pretty hard to change someone when it comes to cleanliness of one's house.Jaline
- wow, dude, u r anal like fuck.pr2
- Ouch, mg33 - clutter's good for the soul, man. I hate mess, I hate dirt - but clutter? That's shit's natural order, man.Nairn
