Ok, got one for you guys. So right after I graduated I went and spent 2 weeks on a small island in the carribean, St. Croix, USVI to be precise. Amazingly while I was there I met a nice girl who had a father who ran a 'design studio' on Christiansted. Me, keeping mum about my profession, allowed her to indulge on her career as a graphic designer. This is what she said:
"Graphic Design... yeah, it's like art but with lines and not dots. Oh, do you know vector art too? That's what graphic design is."
