  ive been using vista for about a year now. at first it looks nice and shiny but it really drags down the machines performance. i turned off all the effects and it runs just as well as xp(looks like win2k now with a different explorer). the problem is, the regular bloke wont really tinker with it that much so all he sees is how slow it is but without all the fancy shiny candy, its actually ok.

  so yeah fuck you candy.
