aight.....
i dont wanna say too much, cause nobody wants to hear a bunch of bitching and i also dont want it to get around the office....unless i am ready.
But I work an agency called "where hope goes to die" and usually juggle 3-4 projects @ any given time that are all on unrealistic timelines and every day when i go in i get handed a sheet of paper saying you should spend 5.5 hours on this, 3.5 hours on that etc etc.
Fuck that. Im a grown ass adult. I cant stand to be micromanaged....it ACTUALLy way reduces my productivity.
1 AM on a saturday morning because of a Friday EOD deliverable is not an unfamiliar feeling.
Also, there is the fact that they hired me for a reason....
A combination of my tech chops (as, aftereffects, php etc) and aesthetic. Im getting further away from that and finding myself accumulating skills like "windows server administration." I Find that the more i have those kinda tech skills....the more I am tasked to use those tech skills and you really have to fight to keep my job role a creative one.
