flanels, you're not really asking very delving questions of us. should you mount it? that isn't going to make or break you.
i'll kind of chatter to myself about ad agencies and see if anything sticks. from the sampling of art directors i have worked with i have noticed that they generally don't know much about type and are usually too hyper to take the time to mend any loose holes in the layout.
where a designer seems to fit in is with choosing colors, up to date type, creating grid systems, suggesting more interesting printing options, help choose photo styles, give input on a more effective layout (AOF) ..
unless you're like nopattern and have some pre-defined magical style that you'd like to contribute to a brand.
