The 700 is full frame, so if you have the lenses, then ya its worth it.. but if you bought non-full frame lenses, then the 300 is a better choice.. unless you have the $ to get new lenses....
The D80 does all the same stuff, plus will save you a bit.. I have a D300 (and had a 100 and 200 before..) and it gets the job done..
- I have ff lenses, but like the d300 for added reach********
- but would love the high iso of d700 on occasion********
- I ended up just getting new lenses when I finally sold my F5.. but kept my 80-200 2.8nicnichols
- I have the 70-200 f2.8 and the new 14-24, just in case********
