Interesting read over at Wired, on the subject..
http://www.wired.com/techbiz/it/…The beefing up of Javascript, reducing of the ..er.. chrome and smart address bar concepts sound fantastic, but until they've re-jigged their EULA I'm not even going to download a version to peek at, never mind use. I'd like for it to be in the wild a little longer, so the tech guys can work out just how much of its typical functionality is tied into the Googleplex.
If they do indeed 'do no evil', I look forward to using it.
'Til then.. *dons tinfoil cap*
- Normally, I couldn't give a shit about EULAs but when it's something as widely used as a browser, you have to wonder..kalkal
- I mean, if you run a blog, every peice of information you put in there through the backend will be freely availible for google to use any way they see fitkalkal
- to use any way they see fit, for any reason... this includes email attatchements too. I wonder if this is in the EULA for gmail too...kalkal
- Gmail too...kalkal
