It's really sad that the parents can't just work with their own kids to make them better ballplayers, but instead shun the better ballplayer and tell them to be on the same low playing field as their own kids. That's the fucking problem with America today. Instead of praising this kid and using that to inspire our children to be better, try harder and work harder, they want to keep their kids lower on the totem pole and be mediocre players.
This will translate directly to their lives outside of baseball too. Shame on those parents. Hurray for this kid.
