    "
As I was on my way back from lunch with a senator regarding potential future legislation, I realized something. Maybe the people of QBN actually don't want to hear about my seven figure salary. Perhaps they're not interested in knowing about my $2.4m Manhattan apartment, my cabin in Aspen, or the new Bugatti parked outside of my condo in LA. It's possible that they're tired of hearing about my black patent calf leather shoes from Hugo Boss, my tailored Armani suit or my slightly dated gold Rolex watch."

    - GOLD rolex = bad taste
    - Buggati owner = cool with me, costs a million, but >
    - 2.4 million manhattan apt = cheap, really cheap in comparison to the bugatti

the rest seems credible for what i know..

    here is real truth:
i know (via via) a few people (an acquaintance of mine does work for a magazine on the richest of the richest in Holland) that actually do own 1 or more (yes, one guy temporarily had 3 of them) Veyron's and these people (on average) own houses way more expensive than your meagre 2.4 mill. (only dollars even, go figure) apt.

And if this is your home base, on manhattan, it doesn't sound really expensive or exclusive.

or maybe Holland has simply become so incredibly much more expensive lately, which could well be the case seeing the prices here lately..
