  a lot easier fix thant reinstalling windows if IE gets fuXX0red, eh?

  Yeah, you should be able to find Safari prefs somewhere - trash em.

  also, if you don't know
  look up the fsck -s command
  reboot holding command+s
  you can use fsck -s or -a or whatever to clean up stuff

  works pretty well.
