    So a republican friend of mine goes on and on about if we raise taxes on the 250K+ crowd - he says that most of those people are small business owners - that they will make up that extra money taxed by cutting jobs. And that generally this is the case across the board. Raise taxes for the rich and they will retaliate by cutting jobs and spending less money. Does anyone think this holds water?
