  uh gruntt, FYI the Mayans never went extinct they are well and yes still struggling unfortunately against the inevitable hand of the white man who for some reason thinks he can come in and take their land, kill it's people off without any media coverage and pillage their towns.

  have you ever heard of the EZLN? why do you think these indigenous people had to take action?! for fun? NO! because they were being killed off in silence!

  let me guess precious natural resources? the conquest continues right in front of our eyes.
