    Yep exactly. I sold a mobile phone and had recored tracking. The buyer signed for it etc and saw a signature online as proof. I got the sellers contact details and phoned them and it turned out to be a fax number of a random company. I emailed ebay as well and they were no help.
    Regarding the negative balance, you could always open a another account for paypal and use that one instead. Bit of a hassle though.
