Mine did this a few times while I was using VLC Media Player. It was the weirdest thing ever. Once I closed the program (and stopped the video) it was fine. I have no idea what it means.
- Sorry, I meant that my screen turned off and then would come back on, with the CD drive checking (with nothing in it)Jaline

- I had a similar problem, ixed it by uninstalling the instant hijack plug in thing that came with Audio Hijack.ismith
