A little insight for those not living in the states:
If live in the other 50 countries part of the american continent. This article talking about "americans" is referring only to people born in the united states of north america.
Also, for those of you born or living in europe, africa, asia, australia antartica, and south america, if you speak spanish as a first language you are mexican.
And that concludes you geo-social class of the day. :)
