Sorry...But I don't think my suggestions are any more lame than 'sticking a toothbrush up your arse' or 'shagging her mate or one of his ex's' ... you're looknig for someone to blame, what do you want? For them to not see each other because it hurts you, or lie, or move away and get on with it?
