  wouldn't a 2.8 result in a way too short sharp part in the pictures, especially using macro lenses?
  ie:

  

  
  i'd prefer a sharper subject, with the accessories less sharp in the fore- and background.

  • that's probably a 70mm / 4.5 with a 50cm distance between the food and the glasses.stewart
