    Sony do well-made machines. They're in, essentially, the same price/performance bracket as Apple, and they last a long time.

    imho, I couldn't imagine doing design work on a laptop - I'd need a separate mouse, keyboard and monitor anyway, so what's the point.

    I know you don't care about my opinion, but I'm just that kinda guy.
