1) I would not worry about your small mistake in your CV, it's so minor that I doubt that people would even notice it. If you have talent and your work is good then that's all the employer is looking for so don't worry about that.
2) Regarding people looking at you, I have that problem sometimes. People just stare at me with no emotion and I look at them and say: "WHAT?" they quickly look away but it always makes be feel pissed off when they do that. I know its not the way I look or dress but gets to me! So the answer to that is:"FUCK what people think, you are you and that's it!"
3) About that recruiter, I piss on recruiters as they are so full of shit. They make you feel good and offer you all kinds of job offers but when comes to getting an interview you never hear from them.
My advice is to find jobs yourself and go direct to the companies and not use the recruiters.
