I'll be honest and I hope you find my input helpful.
I think your design could be stronger.

    Here are my thoughts.

    * Is it necessary to spell out your URL (camilovelazquez.com)
i think it'd make more sense to come up with an actual logo, or stylized lock up for your title.

    * Change the font asap. It feels dated and techie.

    * Kill the scrollbar. You have a large/full screen site with a short intro paragraph. Either cut back the intro copy or make your box bigger.

    * The bouncing/expanding box animation also feels dated. It's Flash 101 (not in a good way).

    * Branding for your site. Consider coming up with a solution where your name and lock-up are always visible. Right now, once I get past the intro screen, I no longer know what time I'm on.

    * Your navbar, I'm on a 24" screen and I had no idea where your navbar was... It's okay for it be on the bottom, but it blended so much with your black background that it almost felt like it was copyright , legal disclaimer text.

Your creative work is very solid, your web site needs a little work.

    Good luck with everything.

    • I am working on the logo and used that as placeholder, will also test the font changes, thank you for the great input, highly appreciated!CamiloVelasquez
