I have never used them, but what ever you do don't send them any CC information what so ever. Call them again and ask to speak to the manager or someone with a higher status level.
When did the domain expire? Remember if you want to renew it with someone else you always have the deletion period where Joker.com can hold your name till the time for deletion comes up.
Just looked at their site and it looks like a joke, also did a search online and a lot of people have issues with them.
Buying domain names is a pain if you land yourself with a rubbish domain provider. IMO always go with a company that has a reputation and always read the reviews and what people say.
